Executives: Courses in Communication Skills in Spanish
These courses always follow a practical approach and are aimed at developing those skills used by professionals who use Spanish for work purposes, always following a practical approach. The courses are comprised of 30 teaching sessions. As well as the linguistic, communication and cultural contents, these courses offer specialised contents. There are two courses:
1. Negotiating in Spanish
- Students will acquire communication skills in order to carry out negotiations in Spanish and will learn about cultural aspects of negotiating in Spanish speaking countries.
- Students will improve the linguistic techniques and skills which are necessary to communicate in work situations.
- Students will acquire the confidence that is necessary to communicate in real work situations, with the help of pronunciation and oral expression practice.
- Students will gain efficiency, by negotiating fluently and accurately.
- Minimum level of Spanish required: Level B1 (intermediate).
- Specific contents of the course:
- In addition to the communication, cultural and linguistic contents, this course offers specialised contents such as:
- Agreements with clients and suppliers
- Trouble-shooting techniques
- Assigning tasks in a team
- Decisions about schedules and budgets
- Pay agreements and general working conditions
2. Presentations and Expositions in Spanish
- In this course students will improve their skills at giving conferences, speeches, expositions or presentations in public using the Spanish language.
- Students will gain experience about cultural elements regarding public presentations in Spanish speaking countries.
- Minimum level of Spanish required: Level B1 (intermediate)
- Some of the specialised contents of this course are:
- Presentations as a way of communicating in the business world
- Different kinds of presentations depending on the type of business
- The basic structure of a presentation and different approaches
