Executives: Spanish Language Courses in Specialised Techniques

The Spanish language courses in specialised techniques are courses teaching oral and written communication in Spanish, directly related to professional practice in the world of business and companies. The courses are comprised of 30 teaching sessions, and are complemented by virtual contents available from our Internet portal. As well as the linguistic, communication and cultural contents, this course contains specialised contents. There are two types of courses:

1. Finance and Banking

"All the experience of the banking sector in a Spanish course"

  • Students will learn about aspects linked to finance and the banking sector.
  • Students will become familiar with operations, documents and procedures in Spanish companies.
  • Minimum level of Spanish required: Level B1 (intermediate).
  • Course contents:
    • Specialised contents:
      • The financial system in the European Union framework
      • The business of banking and financial services
      • Changes in the competitive environment of banking
      • Key concepts to the business of banking
      • Practical case studies: Banco Santander, La Caixa and Caja Cantabria

2. Commercial Activities

"New market opportunities in full view"

  • Students will be given the tools needed to efficiently carry out commercial activities in Spanish.
  • Students will learn how to more easily segment key players in the market.
  • Minimum level of Spanish required: B1 level (intermediate)
  • Course contents:
    • Specialised contents:
      • Commercial management within a company’s activities
      • The process of commercial decision-making
      • Commercial tactics and strategies
      • Product, price, distribution and commercial communication
      • Practical case study:El Corte Inglés
