The Fundación Comillas organizes preparation courses for Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (D.E.L.E. : Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera).
The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language are official qualifications awarded by the Cervantes Institute and which certify the student's degree of competence and command in the Spanish language. The examinations take place three times a year and there are three different levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Proficiency.
All three examinations test the student's reading comprehension, writing, speaking, listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary.
The D.E.L.E. preparation courses organized by the Fundación Comillas are accumulative module courses of 20 hours, each module lasting one week.
You will be given sample examination papers which conform to the modules outlined by the Cervantes Institute. You will also receive the necessary literature, texts and exercises to review basic grammatical functions.
On your arrival at the centre, you will take a specific test based on the diploma you would like to attain. Our teachers will then assess this test and guide you towards taking the preparation course for the diploma which you are most likely to pass.
At the Fundación Comillas, students who do not have the minimum level to take a preparation course for the D.E.L.E. Examinations can opt for combining an Intensive Group Course with a D.E.L.E. Preparation Course.
