Major Seminary

The Major Seminary of Comillas is the most valuable building of the whole complex because of its architecture richness and its modernist distinctiveness. It was a project supported by the first Marquis of Comillas, Don Antonio López. The Catalonian architects Joan Martorell and Lluis Doménech I Montaner took part on its construction.

The location of this unique building, on a parcel of land of 575.000 square meters with a view of the Cantabrian Sea and Picos de Europa, makes of the Major Seminary one of the most important and emblematic architectural jewels of the region of Cantabria.
