The institution

The Comillas Foundation is a non-profit public institution founded in 2005. Its main goal is to set up, develop and manage a center of excellence dedicated to the promotion and specialized teaching of Hispanic language and culture.

This will all be done in collaboration with public authorities, private companies and other organizations and institutions.

Goals and functions

The overall goal of the Comillas Foundation is to offer quality training that includes not only purely academic aspects, but also complementary activities that enhance the learning process.

At the same time, the Foundation also promotes research in all language-related fields. The primary purpose is to develop a Knowledge-Building Community in Spanish, which may be joined by prestigious Spanish and international institutions.

  • Training and Research in Hispanic language and culture.
  • Sponsoring forums, conventions and seminars in Spanish, either directly or in collaboration with other organizations and institutions.
  • Applying ICT (Information and Communication Technologies)to the teaching of Spanish.
